Episode 8 | Compassionate Choice: Relax Into Knowing
After trusting yourself, this episode is about choosing compassion for yourself—on purpose. Lisa and Mari explore how to relax into what you know, embrace uncertainty and make choices that honor your energy, needs, and dreams.
What you’ll learn
Relax into knowing: Trade worry for calm confidence—let decisions land without spiraling into “right/wrong.”
Expect delight, not disaster: Stop waiting for “the other shoe to drop” and start stacking wins by spotting the small, daily miracles.
Compassion starts with you: Choosing yourself isn’t selfish; it’s how you stop people-pleasing and start living aligned.
Read the body, then respond: Notice the first signal (tight chest, heat, fogginess, not wanting to get out of bed) and meet it with care, not judgment.
Embrace uncertainty: You don’t need the whole map—move with the next clear step and trust you and God to meet the moment.
Micro-practices to try
Win Stack: Each night, list 3 “little lined-up things” (the taxi that appeared, perfect timing, a kind stranger). Train your brain for good.
Compassionate Boundary: “I’m choosing a lighter day—let’s reschedule,” or “I’m not available for that, thanks for understanding.”
Self-check Walk (10 minutes): Step away, ask: What am I feeling? What happened just before this? What do I need right now?
Reframe the Fear: If rejection stings, name the deeper story (e.g., “Rejected = I’m wrong”). Write: That story is not true. Here’s what’s true…
One Brave Act: Do one small thing without asking permission
